Generally all the aromatherapy essential oils have a very long name as they are named after their Latin and common name. The bible even mentions Frankincense & Myrrh which the wisemen brought as gifts for the infant messiah, Jesus.

To find out whether the essential oil is of fine quality smell it. Almost all the oils have a sweet fragrance which resembles that of the plant product from which it is extracted. One more point to consider is that of its thickness. All of the high quality oils are concentrated.
